Rome's mild climate makes it visitable year-round, but you will be likely to strike unpleasantly hot weather in July and August and briskly cold weather from December to February when icy winds blow in from northern Europe. Spring and autumn are without doubt the best times to visit, with generally sunny skies and mild temperatures, although late autumn (November) can be rainy.
